OVERVIEW:

One of the best known, but least understood, herbs from the Amazon Rainforest, pau d'arco is a key ingredient in the tribal medicine chest. Pau d’arco is a supplement derived from the inner bark of a large evergreen shrub that is native to the forests of South America. It is bitter tasting and blending with other botanicals will enhance its flavor in teas.

Pau d’Arco has a wide variety of benefits, from boosting your general health and immune function to combating infectious, chronic and age-related disease.   Pau D'Arco has crystalline oxygen locked into it and is also rich in nutrients including iron, calcium, selenium, zinc vitamins A, B & C, magnesium potassium and sodium. It is also stacked with antibacterial and antifungal properties. Not good for long term use.
