OVERVIEW:

Maqui bush is a Chilean species which produces small exotic, dark-purple berries that are collected from the wild. The berry taste is sweet and tart, often compared to that of blackberries. Maqui berry is marketed as a “superfruit” because it contains a rainbow of vitamins, minerals, anti-inflammatory properties, as well as fiber.

This little berry packs a lot of punch and blends well with other fruits in breakfast "super"  bowls, smoothies, juices, and oh...the desserts!  These hard-working berries are an antioxidant powerhouse with potential health benefits, including reduced inflammation, blood sugar control, and heart health. Maqui stands head and shoulders above most so-called superfruits due to its benefits.
