Holy Basil Rama is known for its cooling and mellow flavor.
It is used widely in Ayurvedic and naturopathic medicines because it promotes purity and lightness in the body. Holy Basil Rama consists of eugenol, rosmarinic acid, and linalool which gives off a strong aroma of cinnamon or clove. Rama Tulsi (Holy Basil Rama) is a known adaptogen and is believed to promote long life and good health. It is considered the “elixir of life.”
